1. Frame one problem
Name a market, a specific problem and a recent evidence window. Narrow framing makes contradictory evidence easier to find.
2. Preserve public observations
Each observation keeps its source URL, observed date, source type, short factual excerpt, strength and whether it supports or contradicts the problem. XeoPulse does not open or verify the source.
3. Declare the heuristic inputs
Explicit pain receives 1.0×, workaround behaviour 1.3× and migration evidence 1.5×. These are visible prioritization weights, not probabilities. Velocity and solution density are also your declarations.
4. Read score and confidence separately
The score combines evidence strength, coverage, direction, density and contradiction penalty. Confidence falls when the set is small or important values are unknown. A useful score can still have low confidence.
5. Take the next validation step
The output recommends more evidence, a bounded validation test, differentiation work or a refreshed evidence window. It never authorizes building or spending.
Known limits
Manual evidence can be biased, duplicated, stale or misleading. The tool does not infer causality, predict revenue, prove willingness to pay or replace interviews and experiments.
